This is good if you're just starting with photography. I'm no good at taking pictures myself, but I've heard my mom (a professional) say that if there's enough light already provided there you only need to use a different angle to make it brighter; if you used the flash it would have made the cat look like a big white blotch.
It's very cute, too, and I don't think it's blurry. He(she?) reminds me of my own cat, down to the way he's sitting.
