I use photoshop
Fella or anything you want to put into the stamp is on a layer above the stamp template.
Everything else (the colour of the stamp and the words are on a layer under the stamp template.

Well if you have any suggestions for a large stamp, I'm listening. Just nothing with a sexual tone or horror or anything like that. (You know what I mean.) I would be more than happy to create something for you. I don't charge anything, I just like creating weather it's for me or someone else.

I'm not too familiar with other programs. I barely know PS, just what my daughter taught me. But I do know you need some kind of program that offers layers.

I have only heard of layers, not seen it in action, but I think you are right - can only be done on PS.
