Part of my calendar project for 2012, this time October. I went for a very autumnal feel for this one, because I just can't resist all those beautiful colours that the leaves turn into
This piece was made with a watercolour wash and then colour pencils on top for depth and detail. I work mostly with colour pencils, but the watercolour was really helpful for a project this size, because I can pull off really lazy backgrounds fairly quickly
