Elsewhere there is strange unrest.
Drawn in propelling pencil on cartridge paper,
Inked with Pitt Pens,
Coloured with Pixelmator.
No references used except a model of this horse so I could get his markings right!

Yay!!  Well done!  And who is this piebald fellow??  I suspect I know who he may be in one respect, but not his name.

The poor gentleman is having a "Bitzer Moment" like the dog in Shaun the Sheep.  Hopefully his glasses aren't broken, that's always an expensive thing.

Love the picture on the wall behind the man and newspaper, it really gives the room depth.

He's going to be properly introduced in a couple of strip's time, ( which might take me about ten years to draw!)

Hey, we're making progress!  It's all about the journey, even if it may take time.

Pixelmator looks like it is great for coloring over traditional work, which is how I like to do stuff.    Is it hard to learn?

Not really, I use it as an alternative to Photoshop. It works pretty much the same way as Photoshop and makes more sense than Corel Draw.
I often draw in Clip Studio, export and colour in Pixelmator. Clip Studio's painting section defies understanding.

Clip Studio is from Manga Studio and that was never designed for coloring, just manga-style halftones and black or white inks.  Right now I'm still coloring my scanned inks with a very old copy of Paintshop Pro.  Alas, I can't recommend the newer versions, they became bloated with photography-stuff I never use.

I had earlier incarnations of Clip Studio/Manga studio, they just aren't very intuitive plus finding sensible instructions is difficult as they are in Japanese.

Very true, they were not intuitive at all, and now that I haven't used it in over a year, I'll have to re-learn how to do stuff in it all over again.

Don't get me wrong, it is a fantastic and very powerful piece of software, but it doesn't work logically.
