Entry for IVS Christmas [link]For Havillands Stables, Havillands Serenity and Jenny Stigley "Rocking Around The Christmas Tree"
Jenny is a bit of a speed freak, Serenity is quite good at Polo and Horseball so the tight turns and galloping of a barrel race seemed to be exactly the right kind of event for them.
Jenny had been practicing with Serenity at home in the sand school using old beer kegs and road cones. Serenity had managed to get quite fast at running the pattern but when faced with Christmas trees at the IVS arena she wasn't so keen. She was scared of the highly decorated trees covered in glass balls and twinkling lights. Khi had dressed Serenity up in a festive tinsle collar too and that wasn't making her happy either.
Who knows how they will do?

Thank you, I used a special brush to do the tree but then I had to work out what the decorations would look like.

Trees are monsters! Hopefully they use this 'monster attacking them' to pick up some speed and place a little higher

I know, it ranks along side the mortifying puddle, the vicious flying sheet of newspaper, killer guinea pigs, petrifying carrier bags, terrifying crisp packets and the hedge monster.
