EXPLANATION :
"Or Nouveau" : French wordplay on or (gold) and Art Nouveau ("New Art")

-The artist who inspired me is Gustav Klimt, a famous Austrian painter from the end of 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. At that time, Europe was marked by the great artistic movment called art nouveau.
-Art nouveau designs were most common in glassware, jewellery, and other decorative objects like ceramics. But the style was also applied to textiles, household silver, domestic utensils, cigarette cases, furniture and lighting, as well as drawing, poster art, painting and book illustration. Theatrical design of sets and costumes was another area in which the new style flourished.
-Typical decorative elements include leaf and tendril motifs, intertwined organic forms, mostly curvaceous in shape, although right-angled designs were also prevalent in Scotland and in Austria. Art made in this style typically depicted lavish birds, flowers, insects and other zoomorphs, as well as the hair and curvaceous bodies of beautiful women.
-Klimt first achieved acclaim as a decorative painter of historical scenes and figures through his many commissions to embellish public buildings. He continued to refine the decorative qualities so that the flattened, shimmering patterns of his nearly-abstract compositions, what is now known as his "Golden Phase" works, ultimately became the real subjects of his paintings.

I'm so proud of what I did because it was the very first time I worked so hard on a fanart and it was a very cool experience. At the beginning I just colored the characters and put a golden background. But when I posted it I wasn't very satisfied : it looked pretty but "empty" at the same time. And I didn't know what to do without start all over again... Then I remembered one of my favorite painter who highly painted with gold. I also put the little yellow flowers to make a little reference of golden flowers. And there it is !!!
And don't feel sorry about what you said. I'm filled with patience !
