Wow, someone has a really low self-esteem of himself. I don't think it's usually Sherlock's fault that he's like that though because he doesn't know any better (like John, I think he's much more likely to be a high-autistic than a high-functioning sociopath, especially since he has so much trouble understanding other people's points-of-view.) At least he has John who puts up with and tries to understand him.

Yeah, that scene was heart-breaking. He usually acts so full of himself but when he said that, it showed how he really saw himself, which was very negative and he couldn't understand how anyone could love him. It's a good thing John hugged him, he needed to know that someone loves and values him. And now that Mary is in his life, he now has two people who love him.
