Description When I was younger I always used to think that what if my toys had consciousness? So I thought it was best to treat them well and never neglect them... else they might do something nasty.

No images are stock, all are done by me

Holy shit fuck!! Daily deviation?! I disappear for a while, come back and BAM I got this! You know this has made my day, it really has Thanks ~simul for the suggestion, and thanks to everyone who's creeped out by this! Yeah baby, you rock!

weeeeell seems quite a few of you are confused by the concept behind some images, particularly the last frame. Well it's a story portraying a girl who neglects her doll, treats it with disrepect and leaves it lying abandoned in it's crumbling abused state. In her dreams, the tables have turned and she has become the doll; little does she realise this until the doll comes to 'play'. The last image if you notice is the girl's bedroom seen in shot 3 where she fell asleep and the trail of light leads out of an open window. The intention was to make you question if that actually was a dream she had or whether it had become reality. The trail of light shows the path the girl was carried away by the doll in, either physically or in spirit. Hope that clears some confuzzled thoughts.

If anyone's interested I was heavily inspired by the work of Duane Michaels at the time, particularly with his piece 'bogeyman'. I loved the comic strip layout and the surreal take on a child's imagination creating curiosity over something an adult would overlook. I decided to combine this style to an idea I did 2 years ago, basically it was a shit version of shot #5 when I didn't know what I was doing with photoshop. Took about 3 days to plan the story, layout, lighting and what bits I was going to use to make the final composition. Took another 3 nights to shoot everything and a week to bring everything together in photoshop...dang!

Once again, thanks for all your interest

Wow, I love the story the pictures tell! Excellent work!

I used to believe my toys came to life at night, and I'd pretend to be asleep to see if I could catch them moving around or talking.

Very interesting series.

I'm glad I'm not alone, I thought the same thing about my toys. I always felt bad when I played favorites (with stuffed animals, especially) and took one somewhere instead of the others, like I was hurting their feelings or something.
