I think this is a wonderful tribute to your core donator.
It has great visual appeal and powerful emotional impact.
The Dark background is a very good contrast to the glowing heart and pulls the viewer's eye directly into the drawing and up to the portrait of the Character .
I feel the placement of the highlights from the direction of the light source coming from the heart are very well done and emphasize the character's form and facial features.
Anatomy of the character form and facial features are very good.
The eyes are very expressive and the placement of the high lights in them make her seem to be looking deeply into the heart with great feeling .
The fall of the folds and the texture of the dress are expertly done.

I don't think the word 'impressive' is enough to describe what you've done here. You've done such a wonderful job with that burning heart + molten goo in terms of glow effects + texture I can almost feel it pulsing and pumping with the power within. And the way you've lit Dominique's skin; the tone, the shade, how it's placed in relation the light source that is the melting heart... I have no words.
