I know from our past comment conversations that you don't think of yourself as a storyteller per say; but I have to be totally honest, nothing will be able to convince me that you don't have the heart + spirit of one, especially if you keep putting out gorgeously fantastical pieces like this. What was it you told me once during our chat on your Raven King piece: 'I like leaving it "open end" so everyone can imagine their own stories'. Maybe that's enough, being able to inspire others to start thinking of their own stories. How does that old saying go? 'A picture is worth a thousand words'?

That's the last time I'm going to say such things, I promise. I just felt it had to be said


Wait a minute, does that Tree have Tentacle Roots?! Well that's something new! Okay, it's bad enough having to stand on a frozen lake, but you're going to have to come up with something better than an apple for me to take that risk lady!

Hey, a girl's got to protect herself. Otherwise some nasty villager might try to chop her down for firewood in the cold winter.

Love the color and lighting - you can really feel the chilling winter weather.

... and not to forget your signature mouse. Gotta have that!
