It's very easy i use two layers the first for the main color and shade and the second for the light, i turned the Mode to "Luminosity" then i start the lighting the way i want. hope that help!.

Nice job. The colors came out very nicely. The art is also done well. I also kinda like the outfit too. I'm a guy, so for me, thinking up different outfits for my characters is hard.

and about the ripped parts i draw them by myself, i use the main color for blue then i use the bright one, and then i draw random lines with both colors ^^ , before i use the texture ..
