Reader-chan's PoV
You were sitting on your couch in front of the T.V with a cup of tea waiting for your boyfriend to come home. You took another sip of your tea and thought of how you first met the tsundre brit.

It had been in a nice little tea shop. You had been stressing because of your job and needing to work like twelve hours a day. Your (hair color) (hair length) hair was in a messy bun. You had just been getting up to leave when you stumbled and almost did a faceplant to the ground when a pair of arms wrapped around your waist. you heard a voice with a to die for cute accent.

"Love are you alright?"

You knew you were blushing especially when you realized how close he was to you. You two had bonded very easily. Soon your friendship became romantic. That had been 6 months ago. He had a world meeting yesterday so it had been a few days since you had seen him since the meeting was in America. He had texted you he would be home by noon. You were wearing your union jack shirt with your (favorite color) sweats. Your hair was down. You looked at your phone and saw that it was 12:30. You sighed and rubbed your tired eyes.

Even though you were with England your job did not get any better. You still din't get near as much sleep as you should and you usually stayed up late with Arthur. You rested your head on the edge of the couch and quickly dozed off.

Arthur's PoV

I was running late and I hated to know that (name) was sitting there waiting for me. The world meeting had started late and ended late plus I had car troubles. I pretty much sped home. I looked at myself in the mirror and deemed myself at least presentable. I walked in and saw (name) asleep on the couch. I felt guilty since half of her drowsiness was because of me especially since we video chatted for awhile the past few days. In america it was 10 o'clock but here in England it was 3 in the morning. No wonder she's passed out. I crept up to the couch and laid beside her, snaking my arms around her waist and put my chin on her head breathing in her (favorite fruit) shampoo. She startled awake and looked up. I still saw the dark circles under her eyes.

"Hello love" I said in a whisper voice.

"Hi Arthur, sorry I fell asleep." you yawned

"No, I kept you up for the past two days, really you should get some sleep."

She nodded to me and wrapped her arms around my torso while snuggling her head into my chest. I heard her breathing get more steady. I smiled. Quietly I whispered in her ear "I love you."
