edit: about his hair colour, sometimes it looks more yellow orange-ish, and I guess I chose a colour too dark/more towards orange. I'll change it when I feel like it |D;

Hobbes got his immortality because he was the only one who could fight Baneklorg the Destroyer and Baneklorg would return every 157 years.
It is revealed in a blog post that Hobbes has eternal youth, restored to him by the Gang of Awesome Youths. This means that Hobbes is much older than the rest of the cast.

This was one of the best parts of my childhood back then. Today some of the strips almost brake me int otears. Waterson is a genius!
