If there is one character that you can type in on the web and be bombarded with hundreds of customs of, it is the deadly snake like woman, Pythona from the original GI Joe movie. Now I will make one in the next week or so, I already have the head I want but need the body and im not paying out the ass for it online, I will just grab one from TRU next time I go. I will not use the Black widow mold because I just don't like it at all as a figure base, sure its a blank female but the torso is weird and too short and the arms lack a bicep swivel. I much prefer the Dagger, Alpha flight, Jubilee, Elektra and X-23 mold that has a really nice female shape complete with abs and an elbow swivel like GI Joes. its perfect plus there isn't a pose that mold can't pull off, which is essential for an agile character like pythona. now there is an amazing kit on theangelforge that will make a perfectly accurate modern pythona but dropping 80 bucks on something I have to assemble, paint and buy a t joint for isn't my cup of tea. I decided to do this and its fairly simple and not very costly since I already own everything but the body:
head- Star Wars Vintage Collection Aurra Sing, was going to use the Clone wars one but I enjoy the articulation of that one far too much to scrap it. plus the vintage collection one is more realistic and more human like anyways, plus she has cool predator things in her hair.
complete body-marvel Universe Dagger because its white so dying the joints a light shade of purple will not be a problem at all, plus its super articulated and the same height as ROC Baroness.
Cloak-vintage collection Darth Maul. I own 2. the cloak is perfect because it has a hood attached and is an almost identical design to hers.
hands-Biggs Darklighter. got some left over that I will use because the dagger hands are funky spell casting hands, I want her to be able to hold things.
DR. Rex Lewis Surgical claws. because I am not going to sculpt her talons and those are naughty looking.
