There is not a time that goes by when I see Nakai do this that I think of the little baby whale I got to know over the years. He's growing into a beautiful adolescent, but will always be little playful boy in my mind.Taken at SeaWorld, CA.

This is Nakai, he's 6 years old. The one you're thinking of is Kalia, and she turned 3 this last December.

Well Nakai isn't a baby, he's an adolescent. Only Kalia would be considered a baby, though she's 3.

He is handsome. I saw Nakai last year in San Diego, I believe. Still a gorgeous whale then too.

The details in this are AMAZING, I love the fact that his eye is visible and the water on his belly is just streaming off like a waterfall.
He really looks like he's flying and the water comes off him so nicely and you can see the detail in the displaced water underneath him. (:
