Yeah, it's kinda japanese XDDD
Well, "Kimera" just come from "Chimera", that here is written "Quimera". We have some characters with a friend, and when she "created" my character, she named it like that cuz' it was a chimera, and then I told her that it looked cooler with a "K" instead of a "Q" XDD
And Kuroaki...I just invented it xD Kuro means black, and Aki means autumn, I wanted something with autumn cause I was born at the beginning of autumn xD
So, it would be something like "Black autumn"
It's not well written on my nick, though xD for it to mean "black autumn", it should be "Kuroiaki" [the "i" is like a connector that attaches the adjective to the noun xD], but I'm not sure if I should let it as "Kuroiaki" or just "Kuroaki"
What do you think?

as i am japanese i give you some more idea about your nick name(with sound similar to kurosaki too).
kuroaki and kuroiaki will both goes ok, they make sense, but kuroaki might be better for name nad kuroiaki will be better for explainning the situation.

kuro and aki both have another pronouciation as bellow
kuro > koku
aki > syuu
so kuroaki could be kokusyuu too.
kuroaki sound more like japanese native,kokusyuu symiral to chinese sound(as we got kanji letter from china around 1500 years ago and we made new pronouciation with familier to ower language).
for example
late autumn > bansyuu(ban = late)
black smork > kokuen(en = smork)
darkness > ankoku(an itself means darkness but we add koku for kind of enphasize).

all what i got to know from net is she got operaion on Aug. 2008. and started to comeback in the end of 2009 little by little.
i think because it run ok with ๆกๅณถๆณๅญ and its long time since she took off.
she have no blog or hp etc....now.

Well about you nick name, for fan you can just use any letter kanji,hiragana or katakana as you like.
But in general,in formal we use much kanji phrase,katakana is employed for the words come from foreign countries,hiragana is plane and we feel tenderer and also children here start learn from hiragana as it is easyer(kanji is hard to learn even for us!!!).
Some more information auther of manga usually give later unique name for the characters.
But kurosaki ichigo is rather common.
Soifon ็ ่ doesnt sound japanese at all and more like chinese name but not really.

Yeah, I started with hiragana too n.n but now my college don't do more classes ): so I'm trying to contact my sensei to see if she can keep teaching us :3
And kanji is difficult! I just know a few ones, but I don't know how to write them XD
Oh, about her...it is "Soi Fon" or "Soifon"? o.O And yeah, it sounds a bit like chinese, maybe that's why a lot of people write it as "Soi Fong"
