I always see The Pines Twins set cosplaying each other or something like that (there is even an AU of Age Reverse Twins, where Mabel and Dipper essentially lived Stans' lives and Stans were the Mystery twins).
I was rewatching GF, and saw that they didn't really destroyed the carpet , so - opportunity!

Or have it too where the carpet got broken somehow so they couldn't switch back anyway and Dipper and Mabel refuse to start getting it fixed or find some other way to switch back until they made up, and have the voices not swap so they can fool everyone else for as long as they want. Either way, THIS NEEDS TO BE A FANFIC OR AUDIO DRAMA OR SOMETHING! I WOULD WATCH/READ IT!
