Ugh...I am reminded how much I hate hands. This was actually my third attempt drawing her, I don't know why, maybe because I haven't drawn her in awhile but good lord, every time I tried drawing her, her body never matched and it was extremely disproportionate. I wanted her to have legs because this is also going to serve as the new bio for her, but her legs looked like twigs and were so short, I just didn't want to be bothered by it. I'll have time to work out the rest of her body and get back into drawing hands and legs hopefully.

Anyway...I went back to her old bio I did like...years ago and thought to myself: "I really didn't put to much thought into her did I?" So now I am deciding to fix up her old crappy bio with a brand new one that hopefully isn't a train wreck.

Name: Soundbarrier

Gender: Femme (Female)

Affiliation: Decepticon

Age: 43 (In human years, I tried to find anything in headcannon territory that may have made sense in terms of Transformer's age, but I got nothing. )

Occupation: Decepticon field medic

Traits: Soundbarrier can be incredibly stubborn and often argues over the simplest of things if she is provoked, however she is mostly level headed and tends to speak her mind when she feels the need to. She can be sarcastic and a bit short tempered. Soundbarrier tends to be snarky towards mechs/femmes she does not like which makes it hard for her to work as a team player. She prefers to keep unneeded emotions to herself that add onto her harsh behavior at times when she can no longer keep her feelings to herself. Soundbarrier is more skilled in hand to hand combat rather than using blasters, cannons, or any other form of ranged weapon. She prefers to use her blades and be up close to her attackers rather than shooting them from afar, she would take any opportunity to get close to her enemy to get herself an advantage.

Backstory: Soundbarrier was forged in the city of Kaon and was cared for by caretakers who strongly disliked her due to the fact that she never listened to them. It didn't take them long to notice that the reason she wasn't listening was that she had bad audio receptors causing her not to hear correctly. Her caretakers took her to get her audio receptors fixed before she went to school. However she was a slower learner due to the fact that she was forged deaf and her teachers had many struggles trying to get her to form words. This had forced her to be held back, despite her not being able to speak properly for a few years, Soundbarrier had developed a passion for learning.

Her caretakers often found her studying things like basic technology to the workings of the processor. Soundbarrier decided to become a scientist to earn a decent income and she also became a part time medic for the lab she was working at. She would take on the task of repairing mechs or femmes that have been harmed by an accident ranging from acid erosion to explosions and having to pull out every last piece of shrapnel from their frames. As she grew older she started to find the world of a scientist to be rather dull and uneventful aside from the occasional mishap, so she decided to become a full time medic for the lab.

Her co-workers had suggested that she should work for the gladiator pits and told her she would earn more of an income there than where she was at. However she refused claiming that she didn't want to see mechs or femmes rolling in constantly with battle scars and possible processor damage from bashing each other. She thought that the pits were barbaric and she saw no true point in it other than to entertain the masses who found any sort of enjoyment in watching energon spill between two fellow Cybertronians.

As the years flew by propaganda had stared in Kaon and many mechs and femmes were signing up to go to war, she didn't take the whole "going to war" idea seriously and thought some nutjob just wanted to be funny. However every day when she would go from her work place back to her home, she would see posters, graffiti, and protestors galore. Most of them had the similar purple logo and held up signs that said "You're being deceived." It didn't take long for her to realize that the war ordeal was real and that she was residing in a heavily biased location. She decided to ask anyone she could about the situation, some were just as confused as she was and others told her that there will be a new order and some mech named Megatron will lead them to victory.

Soundbarrier thought the named sounded familiar and went to research the mech as much as she could. She found out that the mech was a gladiator, at first she thought that the mech was causing all this trouble because his fights knocked a few screws loose but the more she researched the more fascinated she became. The mech was performing speeches like he was a true leader and despite his appearance he knew what he was talking about and how to spread his message to the masses. She had learned from watching recordings of his speeches that he wants all Cybertronians to be equal, and she understood his logic and grew to respect the mech despite his history.

Soon enough she found herself signing up to join the group called the Decepticon, despite not being exposed to any information of the opposing side. To this day she remains devoted to the cause and believes that they are fighting for a good cause.

Ugh that took long enough, hopefully it's nicer than the old bio because like I said that one wasn't really that good.
