Here are some of my new babies. *u* That I love so muchhhh. <333Top left is Salone, my orca/axolotl (orcaxolotl?), and she's super bad ass. :U She's all tough and stuff.
Then it's Gina, my shark/axolotl (shaxolotl?), and she's a grumpy gills. uwu She's a black tipped reef shark and Salone loves to pick on her.
THEN it's Marina, my eagle ray/axolotl (axolotl ray?), and she's just happy about everything. uwu She's not blind but her hair is always in her face.
They're all escaped experiments of injecting other animal genetics into axolotls. :U They explore the ocean and are bounty hunters and stuff.
THEN the bottom left is Salina, designed by the lovely ~ She's the cousin of my characters Marco and Millia, and lives with him. uwu She can't see ghosts like Marco an Millia, but she can sense them with the bells on her tail.
And the bottom right is Ti, also designed by . >3< She's pretty huffy and sarcastic, and she works at a Chinese bar, and creates new teas in her free time.

Note: Just because you "thought of mixing a shark and axolotl without any sort of previous inspiration" still doesn't make it original, so stop right now with that argument.

look I'll give you 20$ if you can find proof that you are even the first person to mix a shark and axolotl. I'm pretty sure it's been done before, it's not an original concept. Neither is mashing two or more species together. It's been done before, and I doubt you're the first person to ever mix those two specific creatures.

Julia did recently draw pictures of the sharxolotl that was obviously adopted from *Indiantom (There was even credit in both of the descriptions!). And if you actually keep up with Julia's posting then you'd kinda.. notice that. So it's pretty ~ironic~.
Although I do agree that laying claim to existing creatures, I also feel that it's hardly a coincidence. Whether subconsciously or not, you did rip her off.
Just my two cents as an outside source. n_n Went to go check out your kitsune adoptables and immediately I thought of *Indiantom 's sharxolotls when I saw your characters.
You have every right to keep your characters, as *Indiantom does not have copyright to existing animals. But do know that I'm most likely not the only one who will know your (again, subconscious or not) inspiration.

Uhhhh ok, wanna know something? I saw axolotls on tumblr, quite a few weeks ago actually, and wanted to make characters of such. I have concept sketches of the characters in my sketch book, if you don't believe me. And it started with the orca, she's the most important of the trio anyway. The shark and sting ray were added when I figured Shalone's backstory of being an ex experiment.
BUT you'll keep thinking otherwise but whatever.

Nah nah, not saying I don't believe that these are original characters of your's. I'm just saying it's incredibly fishy (oh the irony). And from an outside standing point it seems way too ironic to be a coincidence.
Again, I have a feeling it's a subconscious influence if anything. Which happens to pretty much everyone from time to time. Not a bad thing, really, but it can get you into trouble if people don't understand that. It also doesn't help the defensive attitude you have around it. You know what they say about people who act defensive, yes?
It could be some giant horrendously ironic mishap for all I know, but from an outside point of view it seems just a tad fishy.

I may be being defensive because I've already had to explain myself to Indian today. I'm fine, and I honestly think it coincidence, because I haven't seen any other Shark/axolotls since today.
Sorry if it seems fishy, but I never saw any other shark axolotl.
