... Victini!

I just wanted to draw something adorable a couple of days ago. So I took the time and looked through some pokemon mangas that I found (On a side note, I was also doing some spring cleaning and organizing and when I ran across them, I decided to read a few). This was suppose to be just a little sketch or a doodle of some sorts, and then it escalated.
I tought of doing a background with flames since Victini is a fire type, and I wanted to somehow incorporate blue and violet tones. The space fashion craze everyone is so hyped up about? And I am too, I admit it X3
So that's where this background comes from. This was also my first attempt at such a background involving such colors, and I wanted to make parts look like the were fading. I thought it would give it a cool kind of effect.
Will definitely do some more experimenting from now on, and this was pretty fun to do.

Materials: Watercolors, Prismacolor Pencil white (For the eyes mainly) and Gimp (Since I had to take this with my camera because of the size of the painting and had to match the colors as it looks in person).

Time: 4 Hours.
