Description
The rain was rough upon the streets, like falling spears, one in the dark morning. Unable to fall to dreamland I scoot closer to my young lover, Ellis...who seemed to be in a deep, undisturbed sleep. He soon repositioned himself facing me, his soft snoring was somewhat relaxing. It was now 1:05am, suddenly I was fast asleep. Ten minutes passed faster in sleep, I soon woke up, it was too dark to see, I couldn't cut through the darkness with my sight...I moved my arms like I was blind, I suddenly hit something that seemed to have, bark. I was in front of a tree, nothing made a sound, not even my feet which would pound the surface. I proceeded to walk through, suddenly I felt something stringy on my face...I picked at my face, when I found it, I pulled it off. I had no idea what it was, the moon soon shined, I seen the reflection from, some stringy, sticky lines going across...I freaked out, then backed away...I frantically brushed my face off as best as I could, my heart raced roughly, it began to hurt my chest, when I thought it was the only way through, more trees showed from the moon's light...I rushed to the second set of trees, which didn't have webs on them...I walked quickly, and dodged many trees as I could. I seemed to run out of trees, but tripped over something rough, and solid. I felt something running down my leg, yet, when I looked nothing was on it, nor cut across the knee. I noticed I escaped the forest, but fell into a silent graveyard. The mixture of dead, wet moldy leaves, spiders, and rotting flesh covered the air...it was too much to deal with, I look down while walking, the half full resting places, had heads, arms, and even legs sticking out, a sign of bad burying. Suddenly a tall, around 9ft, and skinny figure in black crossed the corner of my left eye, I quickly looked, and watched it...the figure seemed to near a building, then suddenly disappear through the wall...it seemed to be carrying a scythe, and the hood was over its head. I walked in the direction of the building, I was nowhere slow going, I suddenly stopped when bloody spikes shot up in front of me, I nearly passed out, like all the blood rushed down my feet, but I stood my ground, I walked to the right, then another set of spikes shot up in the air like weeds...popping up in front of me. It was the feeling I couldn't ignore, this was going to be life threatening.
