I think he can have both sides- I've seen lots of fan art that shows him as more aggressive. On the flip side, while he's a pretty dominant guy, when it comes to touch and affection he does seem more private and reserved than Bulma.... he called Bulma a "vulgar" woman for her forwardness way back in DBZ.Β He also doesn't seem keen on public displays of affection or touch (pushed Bulma away in DBS when Velma hugged him)Β
