Description I was so busy with getting my first children's book ready to submit it to various publishers. It meant ZERO time to draw or write down any stories. I'm slowly doing more artwork, and am in the progress of doing a new story.

The inspiration came from a fun chat with my really close friend, Leena aka LeenaAvan-Art here on DA. I was telling her about my latest Gray Ookami Youkai OC, Inayama picking up my miko-healer OC, Aoi Eiko in bridal style. I decided to just go for it! It's a lot of fun to!
I used a reference of Sky and Sophie from the MAMA MIA! Soundtrack cover booklet. It's very inspiring as well.

Drawing Inayama and Eiko in a bridal style pose is truly an interesting challenge. It is my first time drawing a pose of a really dashing Gray Ookami Youkai prince carrying his woman in a bridal style pose!! The hands got redrawn at least 2 or 4 times to correct this problem.

The poses took a while to get right. I love Inayama's flirty, yet protective expression over his lovely human female lover, Eiko. Eiko's faint blush is so cute as her tall Gray Ookami noble playfully smirks at her. This is before Inayama asks Eiko to become his woman. You can tell these lovebirds love each other very deeply. I like this drawing a lot.

How long it took me to complete this drawing:
Pencil - 9:43PM to 12:47AM = 3 hours & 4 minutes.
Ink - 1:33PM to 2:39PM = 1 hour & 3 minutes.
Color - 9:03PM to 11:44PM = 2 hours & 41 minutes.
TOTAL - 6 hours & 48 minutes.

Hope everyone enjoys this artwork!
Please please leave a comment before you this drawing! I worked really hard on it!!!!

I like poses. They are spot on from Eiko caressing his face with her left hand to the arm around his neck (guys just love it when females do that).

The cool green hills, the river stream, the mischievious leafs out for a ride, the sun heading for a snooze. The sun glinting from her long braided ponytail all give an image of love and romance.

One thing, there is an image faded by distance high on the hill just to the left of Inayama's head.

Is that a tree...or is it you in a hooded cloak?

Nice Work, Viv! I especially like the pleated schoolgirl skirt!

Thank you Rob. Have to say I'm very happy with the poses,
and it suits the romance between the lovebirds (Will have
to agree with you on the sweet caresses of Eiko touching
Inayama's face with the petite left hand, while her right
arm around his neck).

I've noticed a lot of people like it a lot, the setting also
creates the serene feeling of where Inayama and Eiko are. I'm
glad you enjoyed the scenery around this unusual couple. It's
great to know you like the way the fading sunlight hits Eiko's
braid, and I completely agree with you on the image of love and
romance.

All right, should say it's a very tiny image of a tree high in
the distance to the left of Inayama's head.

It's a tree...and it was orgininally an ink smudge.

Thank you very much, Rob! I really enjoyed drawing the pleated
Japanese high school girl shirt to!
