Since Fractured came out I've felt really conflicted about which game is better of the two. I do think in a lot of ways Stick of Truth is still the best, especially as far as the storyline goes. But obviously Fractured has much improved combat, more buddies, more classes, kickass boss cut-ins, but the final boss just, reallllly fucking sucked my dude. Fractured was also less tense, as the threat to the entire town wasn't as, damning. I'm not saying the game is bad in any sense of the word, buggy, but an excellent game. I've beaten it 4 times by now, and while the trophies weren't as fun to get as Stick, I still really enjoyed it. I think that with Fractured, everyone's expectations were set astronomically high. Devs promised us a perfected version of what was already deemed a near-masterpiece by just about everybody, and while the sequel is damn good, it just had a couple too many shortcomings to surpass the first game in a lot of folks' opinion. What do y'all think?
