Description

Another point commission for :devkittykyomi, who once again asked for her Zelda OC Hirumi with Link in a scenario of my choice. Soooo... I had them ride an extreme version of Iza's rapid ride ppfffffttt XD(which is the canoe mini-game in TP)
I'm also really sorry that this took such a long time when it really shouldn't have But with school eating up my time I've just been drained of energy lately... ugh, gymnasium choice...
Anyways, Sorry this took so long Kitty, and I hope you like it

Hehehe, thank you so much X3~ I always find the expressions to be one of the most fun and hardest thing to draw

And thank you so much for the watch, it makes me so happy

Haha, this is great!
The boat seems a bit small, but their expressions and the shading is absolutely perfect!

Thank you  It was really fun to draw their faces actually >w>! But dude, I know shit about boats so that wouldn't surprise me XD

(sorry for the late reply, Our internet went down TT^TT)

Haha, I did quite a research into ships when I had to draw one just so i could get it right XD The amount of ropes and sails on those things, oh gods.
I was wondering what happened. Don't worry, I'm used to people disappearing here

I would never have the energy to do that ´@_@` I prefer doing some sort of imagination thingies rather than photo-realistic XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Doofus-the-Cool In reply to LoviLovi [2013-11-07 12:13:47 +0000 UTC]

Well, not photorealistic, but I want my stuff to at least look like it could WORK in real life

I'm too lazy to even care about that I find that if I don't enjoy drawing something it's usually not worth it

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Doofus-the-Cool In reply to LoviLovi [2013-11-11 14:22:21 +0000 UTC]

Haha, for me that problem is easily solved, I enjoy drawing just about anything

LoviLovi In reply to Doofus-the-Cool [2013-11-13 19:59:27 +0000 UTC]

If there's any math or geometric/architectural importance at all involved I sorta loose interest But good to hear that you don't

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Doofus-the-Cool In reply to LoviLovi [2013-11-14 10:24:38 +0000 UTC]

I'm ALL for maths/geometry and architecture! Those two are what I want to take college courses in

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LoviLovi In reply to Doofus-the-Cool [2013-11-21 11:21:20 +0000 UTC]

Meh, I don't really like maths in general so it probably has something to do with that I just don't wanna have to calculate square meters in scale 1:100 or stuff when I'm trying to draw

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Doofus-the-Cool In reply to LoviLovi [2013-11-21 12:39:30 +0000 UTC]

Well, maths is the awesomest thing around so I'm gonna have to say you're missing out
But yeah, there's no need for architectural precision in every random drawing anyway, so don't beat yourself up over it too much

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LoviLovi In reply to Doofus-the-Cool [2013-11-25 08:58:26 +0000 UTC]

But there's no adventure to it, everything is already figured out DX!

The problem is that I avoid drawing buildings so much that almost every scenery in my drawings are out in the woods

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Doofus-the-Cool In reply to LoviLovi [2013-11-25 16:00:38 +0000 UTC]

Everything in the world can be mathematically described. It's the closest you get to the universal language. But that's just me XD
And there's more to nature than just woods there's grasslands, rivers, seas/shores, mountains, canyons, tundras, deserts, caves and any combination thereof; buildings are really just a small percentage of scenery you can choose

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LoviLovi In reply to Doofus-the-Cool [2013-11-26 06:56:25 +0000 UTC]

Meh, I think maths are cool and all, but it's just not for me

Yeah, nature's quite a beautiful and varied scenery but even I can't make up a whole world without a single house So it still gets a little troublesome at times, especially when I want to come up with a story in a modern-day, or even medieval, universe

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Doofus-the-Cool In reply to LoviLovi [2013-11-26 10:39:08 +0000 UTC]

Haha, no problem, few people get fully absorbed into its beauty
You could try looking up natural style houses for reference or jut come up with your own, like the hobbit hole-in-the-ground style house, or a treehouse or something, so it'd blend with the nature.
Oooor just dump everyone into caves and call it a day XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LoviLovi In reply to Doofus-the-Cool [2013-12-08 10:51:13 +0000 UTC]

Haha, I can roll with that Thought I can draw simpler houses, like cabins and medieval-village-like things, but sky-scrapers and sci-fi fortresses... ughhuuh

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Doofus-the-Cool In reply to LoviLovi [2013-12-08 15:54:40 +0000 UTC]

I don't really do modern and futuristic either, they're either too plain or too complicated XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LoviLovi In reply to Doofus-the-Cool [2013-12-15 18:37:48 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, and it has to be so freaking exact and geometrical with the placement of stuff, blargh  Worn down things are so much more fun to draw

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Doofus-the-Cool In reply to LoviLovi [2013-12-16 18:46:44 +0000 UTC]

yeah, I simply love to try and show age on stuff I have this habit of doodling rusty and jagged weapons when I have nothing better to do XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LoviLovi In reply to Doofus-the-Cool [2013-12-21 14:20:50 +0000 UTC]

Hehe, my favorite thing to doodle is weird animals with hats that one of my friends likes to name My all time favorite is a fat British owl with a top-hat and monocle that she named George von Fatty XD

Brilliant expressions of both (and the poor frog )
And I also love how you did the water. I always find it hard to do water in motion.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LoviLovi In reply to Indiliel [2013-11-04 18:26:29 +0000 UTC]

Oh, thank you ! I think steam/clouds/fluff(or whatever it is) does a lot when it comes to moving water

As for the frog,.. Oh god I was so high on not sleeping when I drew that XD I just knew I needed some stuff to help convey they we're going down a waterfall...pfft

(sorry for the late reply, I've had some internet issues)

You should draw more often when you are lacking sleep if it results in such neat ideas
No problem
