Description UPDATED THE PICTURE!
Aha! I made a samurai sword! (And a costume to go with it)
It's technically supposed to be a sakabato, the sword wielded by Himura Kenshin in the manga Rurouni Kenshin, but it's not exactly sharpened anywhere (except maybe the tip is a little pointy) so it was closer to a katana. But, then in the creation process, a piece nearly a foot long snapped off the blade.... so I decided it's a kodachi, which is a medium length sword.
And you would never guess what I used to make this! XD
Cardboard, obviously... but I also incorporated spent Barnes & Noble gift cards, hot glue, several backpack straps, and shiny reflective duct tape (that one's another given I suppose, lol).
And then there's all the careful measuring that went into it.
I also made a sheath for it... paper towel tubes, of course. Not done though, I haven't painted it.
Overall, it came out pretty sweet, if I do say so myself. Better than the fedora, I might even venture to say! :^D

MAKE A BAYONETTA VERSION FOR ME i WILL PAY 100 -200 for a commission

Forgive me, I've never done a commission before, though I suppose I'm open to it. But only on the correct terms, of course.

You are not very specific in your request, so I interpret that you are looking for me the create and ship a cardboard bayonet* to you, and you are offering to pay 100-200 points for it. If that is the case, then I must decline your offer. 100-200 points only translates to about $2.00 USD in real life, and you must be out of your mind if you think you could pay me less than the cost of shipping alone for something that I put my time and effort into creating just for you.

However, if you were offering to set up a transaction of $100-$200, then I would be more receptive to your request. If I am going to be commissioned, then it will be done professionally. I intend to earn some kind of a reasonable profit for my work. For example, let's say that it takes me ten hours to make a bayonet (and this is purely hypothetical—I won't know how long it takes until I actually make it). If I decided to go by minimum wage, then I should charge approximately $10/hr. And say the cost of shipping is... I don't know, $6.00. Add these figures together, and $106.00 seems to be a reasonable asking price in this scenario.

Additionally, I would like to remind you that this prop is quite fragile. It must never get wet, and if it is handled too carelessly, it may become damaged. I do not know whether you intend to roleplay/cosplay with it or simply affix it to a creation of your own for display... if your intent is more like the former, then you may want to pursue obtaining a bayonet through some other means.

But again, this is all assuming that I correctly interpreted your request. I honestly have very little idea what you are asking for. You need to give me more information than that if you seriously want to commission me.

*Is this what you mean? As in, a knife one would affix to the end of a rifle?

a combination of microsoft paint, the internet, microsoft word, and ipiccy.com.
I made a whole bunch, that one is just the simplified version for watermarks. I'll email you what I've got. I made a new "Aeon Zenith " out of them, hehe

I like how you used really cheap and common household materials. You should make tutorials for this and the sheath - I'm sure many would be delighted

I'm working on the sheath - kind of. I'm very busy with school and stuff, so I'm trying to find time. But I do have all the materials; paper towel tubes, hot glue, and black paint.
Hmmm, a tutorial... There's no real way of making this stuff, I sort of make it up as I go. Plus, I often have to improvise because what I originally planned to do didn't work, haha.
Well thank you, though, I'm really glad people like my work! :^D

Oh sorry. I'm on holidays for another month so I'm trying to make as much props as possible now.
I know, I read tutorials but I always end up with a slightly or completely different method.
I'm going to try your toilet paper tube idea - needs to collect some first XD by the look of it, I need about 10..
I'm thinking of making a tutorial of what I did after I'm done. I'll make sure to remember to give you credit

oh, cool, good luck! And thanks for credit! I love that :^D
So wait, you're making the sheath... no sword? Because the sword definitely isn't made out of paper towel tubes. And btw, the sheath only needs about 3 or 4 at most.

Hmm. actually, I do have one or two WIP pics that I never put on dA. You want me to upload them for you?

Argh I meant scabbard..all this time I said 'sheath' (I swear my brain is not functioning properly lately..) - that's why I need like 10 tubes
I've finished my sword base, only putting papier mache on it now so I can paint it later.
LOL that'd be weird if the sword was made of paper towel tubes.
Nah my sheath is made of cardboard with a dowel inserted in the middle for strength. I'm papier mache-ing it more than the blade to create that slightly oval shape.

Regardless, please upload them! I'm sure others would find it helpful as well. You should submit them to some cosplay groups on dA (some accept WIPs).

I searched WIPs in the groups category on dA - here are some (note sometimes the "WIPs" come up under do not submit list instead):

LOL I'm so sorry >.<
In short, my entire katana is made up of only cardboard & a wooden dowel. Covering the whole thing is just plain newspaper.
I'll get back to you on that. If I recall correctly, there's a cosplay tutorial group on dA - not sure if they accept WIPs.
I'll check out your WIPs - thanks for that! ^^
