"Basically... This is a petition for you to sign.It is to block the new copyright law, which basically means... No fanworks of any sort anywhere at all. No fanart, no fanfiction, no fandubs, no covers of songs, no OST tracks, etc. The maximum charge is 5 years in prison. Sites like this and YouTube, will all be seriously affected. Sign this petition, keep our artistic rights free!I'm serious.

Praticamente stanno per entrare in vigore nuove leggi sul copyright ancora più bastarde di quelle che già conosciamo. Sembra che adesso quindi uno potrebbe finire in prigione solo per un disegno su deviant’art o un video musicale su you tube, o scrivendo una fan fiction. Questo non è giusto. Per cui firmate ed opponetevi a ciò.

Beh veramente da quello che ho capito io quella legge, chiamata SOPA, è per tentare di bloccare la pirateria informatica (hacking, distribuzione di file sotto copyright, per esempio film e cose varie, ecc...) ma non dovrebbe essere contro le Fan art, fan fiction e le cose che hai elencato tu...
E comunque gli Anonymous non sono molto contenti di questa legge e soprattutto del fatto che la Sony la appoggia. è per quello che hanno diffuso su Youtube un video dove parlano di attaccare nuovamente il PSN. ([link] )

It's a rumor started by incorrect interpretation of a bill, which has been spread to scare people. Fanart and OCs are not going to be illegal. It's a bill to make pirating more difficult, not to end derivative works.
