Brilliant pose! Looks very genuine! I don't know Ling Shu, but I used to do Wing Chun, and the footwork looks very similar, and the hands look very similar to Wing Chun 'tan sao' and 'fuk sao'. Actually, the feet look a bit like a huang gar 'cat stance'.
Very cool
Btw, tai chi is a kick-ass martial art, if done properly. Not all this slow-slow, soft and gentle stuff they teach old people in parks - the original moves are very effective for defense. My dad can do it, and it is impossible to land a hit on him >_<

learning to draw poses sure helps with you're own movements doesn't it. I was learning Tai chi and trying to learn balance drawing at one point. i really like the way she turned out ^^

I actually think it's the other way around. When you draw something - if it's not accurate it still won't make the character fall or something. but once you actually do it in real life you fully understand the position your body needs to be in to do a certain pose. THAN you take that life experience and translate it into drawing. That's how I see it, but hey - each to his own way

Very good, I love it! The only thing I feel compelled to pointout is her eyes look a little off...like they belong to pocahontas instead. Other then that, I'm really enjoying this!
