I’m not sure I have the will
To keep these ponies safe from harm,
From Sombra, the oncoming storm.

When we arrived, I felt no fear
For the evil racing here.
But now my love, I hate to say
My faith is starting to fade away.

My body’s becoming very frail
Shining Armor, I believe that I will fail.
Please lay my body down to sleep,
Leave the empire in someone else’s keep.

I ask, my husband, what would you do,
would you let your weakness conquer you?
No, you would stand strong and fight
Against King Sombr’s evil might.

So I’ll hold my head up to the sky above

My magic will last another night

If I’m unable to see this through
