Description
I was bored tonight, so I decided to sketch a pony version of the lead singer for The Decemberists, Colin Meloy. I originally wanted to do something more dynamic, like having him singing, and playing guitar, but drawing a guitar was a pain, and since I'm still very much a novice when it comes to this whole art thing, I couldn't figure out how the pony body should look while playing guitar, so I just decided to do a profile (also, it saved me from having to draw too eyes). That being said, I really want to try different poses with the other band members, like having Jenny Conlee playing the accordion, and Chris Funk playing guitar (or maybe playing with a puppet whale's head like he does when they perform The Mariner's Revenge Song). I also want to show off their cutie marks. But that's for another time.
