Spider-Gwen is one of my favorite comics right now. I just really dig everything about the series. That's why I decided to try drawing Gwen Stacy. As a reference, I decided to use the cover of Spider-Gwen #19 because it made me work on my weak points: faces, hands, and things like shadows and folds in clothing.

A few things aside, I think it turned out alright. This is the most human body I've ever drawn, so I was worried I would screw it up. What's funny is that this wasn't even my first attempt at this picture. I'd originally started with the body, but when I tried to draw the hands, I found them to be too difficult. So I decided to go to another page to practice. Then I drew the sword, and before I knew it, I'd finished the picture. So yeah, it was a lot of work, but I think it turned out great in the end.
