I like it
It really has that 1980’s look and feel to it. It also looks like what the 1988 TMNT comic book did with April but with Casey Jones included. In that series, she began as a carbon copy of her animated counterpart, but the writers developed her into a competent warrior after training with Splinter. But I would have liked it if Casey was the one who trained her

Thanks, glad you like it. I kind of tried to blend all the many different looks (old and new comics, movies, and cartoons*) into one.

They look far more like the 80's version and the 80's version had a hotter April (who had a career and was independent) and a Casey Jones that was a real badass

I was going for a mash-up of all the different versions, but like most over 20 the 80s cartoon was my first exposer to the Turtles. So it came thru a little more.
P.S. Hopefully the new series will be good (despite being CG)

I love it! I'm so glad you made April look like she could kick some a$$ too (while still being feminine) because a lot of times I see her drawn as some damsel in distress and it's just so not her. ^_^

You are thinking of the 1987 version. This is the 2003 version. This version was never a damsel in distress.
