Original digital custom of Milestone Media/DC comic characters Hardware/ Curtis Metcalf, Rocket/ Raquel Ervin, and Icon/Augustus Freeman IV. Of course the breakout Milestone Media star Static/Virgil Hawkins. In celebration of the previous month and current reboot of these characters in DC Comics, I thought about doing this custom. Dwayne McDuffie had a vision of creating characters and stories that were diverse in culture and worldviews. In addition, highlighted subject matters that were not typically found in comics (back in late 80s and 90s). I would strongly encourage anyone who missed out to check out these characters and related stories as they have expanded across different mediums and currently have been reintroduced in DC Comics. I am interested in your thoughts about these characters, related stories and welcome any recommendations.
