Excellent photo,really caught the motion well...a few friends of mine do re-enactments,so i know how hard these boys work!

Yea,theres a lot of training i had no idea about...i thought anyone could swing a sword about ^_^
I treid picking up my mates broadswords once,Lord knows how he swings that about for a couple of hours!

if you take a look at any of my shots where they are tagged as Knights Order of the Lion Rampant, they're late C14th, showing a very big leap forward in armour and style. No plate armour seen here. I used to fight with another group of C12th style and this matches their period.
