Yay for expository righting!
Wait... That's something most people dislike?
I must be crazy then, because HOW someone dumps exposition can tell you a lot about them.
I find it FUN!
well... fun's not the right word.
enjoyable, maybe.
huh...

Exposition in itself is not bad, since it's pretty much the essence of world building. There's a right and a wrong way to do it though.

If you manage to get it through a mix of show-don't-tell and character dialogue that sounds natural enough not to break the immersion, it's fine. But you should never, ever do big info dumps or clog everything with walls of text because then it just anihilates the pace and if there was someone who already wasn't fully invested in your story you're just gonna lose a reader. If there's something you absolutely have to explain, especially if it's a big thing to explain you should try to break it down into smaller text boxes and try to have it flow as naturally as possible.

I also personally think you shouldn't stop the story, insert a proper info page, and then pick back up. In my opinion it just breaks both the pace and the immersion. So you should either get that information through a character, or make a completely separate info page that isn't inserted in the middle of the comic.

Usually what people really dislike about exposition isn't exposition in itself, it's when it breaks the pace or just takes you out of the story and makes you bored, or when it break someone's character. And when it's done on repeated occasions, you can usually tell that the writer is probably not very good at delivering information organically, or made a world that is too complicated and can't get it through to the reader
