Because they're Axel's old street fighter clothes that got ripped from all the fights. Despite being offered multiple times to get better clothes for himself, Avas-Rasmus prefers these.

Arden : -was flying on top of forest when he heard the scream- -goes over to the place where the sounds made-

Avas-Rasmus: *staring at the body, head in hands as he keeps screaming*
Body: *has oddly placed and dislocated limbs, with a smile soo big and sharp and empty eye sokets, still warm and bleeding*
Axel: *has also heard the cream so now he runs as fast as he can to reach him*

Arden : -the last time he heard something like this was from few banshee- -he flying faster and landed not far from the voice, turned back to his human form- who..?

Axel: *passes Arden and pulls avas-rasmus'hands awayfrom his head and pulls the boy into a hug*
Avas-Rasmus: *sniffles, finally out of his screaming transe* P-papa? Papa!*tries to look up and around*
Axel: *holding him close to prevent him from seeing the corpse again* I'm here, Avas, it's okay.

Avas-Rasmus: *after calming down he faints from exhaustation*
Axel: *picks him up* *looks at Arden* That's my adopted son, Avas-Rasmus. He's a fullblooded banshee and has the power to sense and find tdeath everywhere he goes. *motions to the corpse* If he screams for too long, he will lose his humanity and be the cause of even a larger mass of corpses. For now he can't control his screaming, so i have to stop him.

Axel: I found him as a baby long before i came here. Aggie herself was the age he looks now and I was 21. I used to look over Aggie my whole life, so i decidedi could handle a kid. I couldn't just leave him. He found his first corpse as a toddler. He didn't understand...and after he did, he got so scared everytime that he started screaming. *sighs* He's my child. I'll do whatever to protect him. Let's head back, i'll put him to sleep in my room.
