Description A proverbial April shower just blew through the Centennial Valley Railroad's base of operations at Monaken, PA, leaving behind a few puddles and a fastly-fading rainbow.

Meanwhile, GP-9 #108 warms up and prepares to depart with the MOW train for scheduled track work up the Tuhannock Branch where ties are in need of replacement.

108 originally came off the assembly line all the way back in 1954 and was originally built for the Pennsylvania Railroad, 60 some years (and 8 owners) later, it's still earning it's keep on the Centennial Valley. CNVY was so eager for extra motive power that they never bothered to paint out the livery of it's last owner (Allegheny Rail) when they took delivery, and just threw the cab stencil on as a stop-gap measure.

Maybe some day, they'll get around to repainting it.
