a direct side by side comparison of these two pictures!!! I kinda wish I had payed more attention to keeping the foreshortening on Songpaw like I did in the first one, but otherwise I think I improved the background texture and anatomy a lot

The background and shading certainly look much prettier in the new drawing! Although I have to admit, I prefer the original one for its perspective and the more natural anatomy / proportions of the cats. I actually think the anatomy in the first drawing is much more accurate than in the second one (it's less comic-style-y). ^^ But both look really good!

comic-y style is honestly what I was going for tbh, and while there are some things that are more stylized I do think I made Song's front legs more anatomically correct, but I do agree on the perspective, that was something I kinda messed up on when I was re-doing the sketch
