Fractal Flame produced with *Zueuk 's Apophysis 2.06 3D hack (really fun, see an example of what it can do at his [link] and also `JoelFaber 's [link] ) and a slightly updated Mandelbrot variation (original version at [link] ).

The above image was produced using a single variation/transform (mandelbrot) and a linear/3d perspective final transform.

Only rendered at about 150 quality -- my laptop battery was dying and I had to shut down the computer before it got too far rendering. Probably should put it in scraps instead.
