whether it is a project all done by yourself with all those horses, or combined into a multi-player thing where they all belong to/were designed by other people, the time that went into that is neat. my buddy and I are going to attempt something like this and it's hard to imagine my starter character here as one day being the great grandfather ancestor of characters who will eventually get pedigrees like this, it seems so far away! but it looks so neat in the end if you actually do stick with it long enough

SoraWithWings made some little pegacorn pony things, and my stallion is going to get mixed in with them later. they'll be trapped in an isolated area so later on eventually, we'll have a unique population not found anywhere else and such. They're all wild horses rather than being selective bred by people, and all will descend from an original pair except for about 4 outsiders, including two of mine and one will be the flaxen carrier and one will be the first pinto, so it will be a "all the flaxen horses descended from this, all the pintos all descended from that" and such. Sora said that on wikipedia supposedly horses need 150-200 animals for a healthy genetic diversity so the goal is to eventually get at least 150 horses. by then my Ramses that I'm drawing right now will be long gone and remembered as the ancestor of all the flaxen horses ;3; who knows if we'll ever make it that far but it's mostly a therapy project, like to relax and get distracted from bad stuff, so it has a second goal of not just "reach 150 horses" but to get to a better state of mental health. I hope at least that part of it succeeds.

  wow that's very good, art has helped me a lot in all the bad times of my life, it's nice to see someone trying to help people with art problems!
