Well, I put in digital darkroom cause on my opinion photomanipulation must be something more photomanipulated. As those I usually do.Here just two of my photos merged. One of the early spring sky series. The other is dandelion of long forgotten grasslands.
The idea was not actually mine. My friend ~rozik looked at the photo and sais she could see there clearly dandelion raising to the sky. I said to put there dandelion I had to shot it first (well, maybe I'm too lazy). But finally I found one old photo, quite off by lighting btw. Maybe that's why I don't like it that much.
And finally I made it BW. Don't know why. MAybe I'm just sick of those blue skies I was working on these last days.
Anyway I'd be happy if I knew you liked it, cause I can't look at it long. Maybe the time will come and some voice in my had will tell me "Girl, look at it, it's great, how could you not like it?" But now this voice is silent.

Let me put it like this: Girl, look at it, it's great, how could you not like it?
It's a lovely composition, a terribly wonderful new way to look at something as innocent and ordinary as a dandelion. Black and white works great, gives it a sort of dreamy appearance. Did you know that scientists that claim to know anything about it, say that we always dream in black and white, and that it is only our imagination that makes us remember our dreams more or less in colour?
It is small, and ordinary, yet it reaches for the sky, despite the sky being cloudy, and the trees around it being much, much taller. The Sun is up there, somewhere. At some point the clouds will pass, and even the tallest of the trees cannot completely obscure the light and warmth. So it reaches as far as it can, and waits.
Way I see it, the only way you could have made this picture better, would be if the dandelion had really been in it from the start, photographed against that sky and forest. Failing that, you have done what a painter would have, taken two good pictures and made them better together. Without the dandelion, it would have been just another picture of the sky. It's the loneliness of the dandelion that gives it feeling and completes the atmosphere.

Girl, look at it, it's great, how could you not like it?
Really, I love it, it looks like a futuristic design, so pure and perfect, and so small... unprotected, maybe lonely surrouded by all the bif trees... It's a great image.
