Do you draw this good or do you use photo references? I want to make stuff like this one day, but i suck at drawing, how would you say my chances are?

Using photo references is a good thing. But no, for this one I had no references, just imagination.
Chances, sorry but I don't know which level your skill is. One thing I can tell you is not to think that digital painting is an easy way to draw. Traditional painting skills are a must always.
