Well it usally comes from the size of the Gif file, a large GIF file uploaded will later ask for a preview image as well

I SOOOOOO want to see the movie Wreck-It-Ralph... I'm in Latinamerica so I don't know when they're going to put the movie on DVD (I don't like paying too much money on cinema xDDD... And in that way I can see the movie all the times that I want!) Cool pose! Love it...

sorry that I didn't answer sooner
anyways, the additional head angles were done by moving some pixels from an existing sprite in the position to where I want Sonic to face. It's kinda hard and I need to be artistic to make sure the sprite is done correctly.
Maybe I should make a sprites tutorial

Super cool now this would be part of sonic's victory pose and i need to replace those poses that sonic learned into a new one and i wanted to remake the sonic characters by add new powers,abilities,movement and skills.
