My friends and I are playing a homebrew DnD campaign, we just reached 4th level.My character simply named Chef is the chef (duh) of our ship. He is highly unintelligent but would never admit that, he eats anything and everything and is obsessed with trying new food, even if it means knocking out a few teeth or otherwise taking damage. Human body parts, rats, disgusting centipedes, book pages, gold coins, mystery magical flasks, cigar ashes, the list goes on. He then tries to incorporate these 'ingredients' into his dishes. Needless to say the entire crew cannot stand his cooking. He even has an 'apprentice' (another player character), who always pretends to be impressed by the awful cooking and who writes down Chef's dish ideas into a big ledger since Chef cannot write
One day in his backstory, Chef found a magical gemstone, which of course he immediately ate. It was delicious. Ever since, he transforms into a giant sharkman when raging.
His iron skillet and cleaver are his weapons but during rages he can also bite and tailslap enemies.
