Almost there...Slowly but surely, I've put it all the pieces together and it can hold it's own in my hand.
Needs fine sanding....

It's looking really good! I didn't realize you were using plywood. It's pretty difficult getting a nice edge on it, huh? Good job.

Well I used it for many reasons...
1) strong but light.
2) it's layers act like a slight cut guide for the edge.
3)and, odds are, if I sell it, I don't have to do much to make it dull and safe for cosplay and such.

It's... actually more durable then I expected... and when I sharpened it's edge... it might be able to cut things...
