Lately I’ve been teasing some designs I thought of for the Black Birds TV show coming soon on TNT, that is basically a Teen Titans show. Some are my take on the characters, and some are more specific to how I would see the show handle them. Forgive me for the faces and body shapes, these are design sheets done on A4 paper, not great for detailed work. Also, I should precise, for a few of the Titans, these aren’t their first costumes. In my concept, the team has been unofficially together for some time before becoming the Titans (or Black Birds).Kid Flash : May need some rework, that one. Basically a modernized version of his original look (no white circle behind the bolt !). In my idea, he is basically a fan of the Flash. But he is still a teenager/young adult with a limited budget. So the suit is akin to an athlete track suit. Same body type material. Also, I had this idea that he tried to recreate the accident that made Barry the Flash, but his trial had secondary effects. He isn’t as connected to the Speed Force as Barry, so he can’t create a force filed around him when he runs to protect himself. That’s why I gave him lenses and a breathing mask (only for when he runs).

Love this and makes it stand out and differ, especially from The Flash TV Show. It reminds people that this is a new show, plus it seems appropriate given what would be the style and nature of the show, since I've read it should be more mature

Yep. Doesn't mean it wouldn't evolve, but I really don't see a teenager like Wally having the money to buy or make a real super costume right away, at the beginning of his career. But his best pal is Dick Grayson, who happens to have some money. So that may help in the future. All of this is my hypothetical story of course

Yeah, it seems like this show is having a hard time getting made for what I've read. And, yeah they probably use Bart since they are going to do Wally West in The Flash. It could be Bart or even a new character, but I would go with one that exists already.

Yeah, I'd prefer they kept the original roster, like the one I chose, but if they do something completly different, I won't mind. We already know there is Nightwing, so there is that.

Yeah, completely agree with you. I don't mind changed, I like when something new is done, I don't care if it's for TV. What's the difference between creating something for TV and creating something in a comic, it's the same thing, just that people tend to accept more when there's a change in the comics then when something is tweaked in a movie or show.

And since it's not the first time the Titans have appeared outside of comics in some form or another, it's less of a big deal. People already know who the Teen Titans are, I believe, so if they decide to shake things up, well, they should go for it. But I want a proper Nightwing, a proper Starfire, and a FUCKING PROPER DEATHSTROKE ! These are my only demands
