Just thought you would like to know. I gotta say, I love I can almost see a huge "A"/ankh/pyramid symbol on his belt area. It almost kinda looks your interpretation in your picture. Here's hoping he has all of his powers, though.

After seeing the official Apocalpyse who I think looks like a bastardization
from Ronan the Accuser and a Frost Giant, I like to act like your Apocalpyse is the true live action one.

I agree. I even said that Isaac will more then likely kick ass in the role. It's just that Apocalypse looks so far removed from what I imagined he would look like in the film. I also heard a lot of speculation that this isn't even his final form, and that he'll probably undergone massive change during the course of the movie.
But still, he dose look like Ivan Ooze.

I could see this or something very similar actually being used in "Apocalypse". The design aesthetic isn't far off from the Future Sentinels in "DOFP". The fact that Mystique was in league with Apoc on the 90's cartoon escaped me as well, and I'd be thrilled to see Mystique take Wolverine to Apoc and have him be turned into the Horseman of War (since Angel/Arcangel will probably be Death; the irony is too strong). Fantastic piece indeed.

I'm partial to the arm tubes, so I wish those were kept in your design. XD But I love the alien Egyptian aesthetic here! Incorporating the pharaoh headdress is my favorite. 8D

I thought of the arm tubes at the back, sticking together with the arm, not sticking out. I should have done a back concept as well to show this. I don't know if that helps you, but at least it's better than no tubes

Even animated Apcoalypse would be afraid of that monster. Just a great job with the coloring, and keeping in theme with the live action X-man movie. Speaking of which, I heard Tom Hardy's name being tossed around as a potential pick for Apocalypse.

After I did this I heard that too, some fans even bashed me with that info complaining about my pick. I think Tom Hardy would do a fine job! My only concern is that is not african descendent, which I believe is good for the Egyptian role.

Shouldn't be that much of a problem. Chances are, who ever plays Apocalypse is going to be covred in heavy makeup, or going to be in a motion capture suite for the role. However, if they were going to go with an actor of African descent...maybe Djimon Hounsou should get the nod, or Arnold Vosloo possibly.
