Magdalene Lee commissioned this portrait long ago, but she was really kind to wait until I finished Mariah Carey's portrait.She's a very nice girl, smart and gentle. She lives in Singapore.
This time I changed a bit my style, well I maybe this is not the right word, I used again brushes and grahite pencils but I added white chalk on colored paper and I've really enjoyed a lot the process.
I like how white chalk reflects light on colored paper
I think I'll do other portraits like this in the future.

i am a beginner at realistic art...but im rather good..as so people say, and i have made a few side earnings by doing portraits..i just cant do hair so well!!!! i will post very soon..im young, so hopefully my art will get better...but.what i wanted to ask you was....did you draw her...like using a deisel..or whatever..and just looking at her? if so..you are my hero! ive been learning how to draw people..they move alot,....so its hard for me..i just ask for pictures..and draw them....any tips? you draw soo amazing!!!!

I draw from photographs.. I can't draw from models I think I'd need a lot of training to draw from life.

Io ho disegnato ritratti su una carta grossolana da tipografia, ma รจ troppo stancante, ora sto provando la fabriano liscia bianca da 220 g, ma non riesco proprio a trovare la arches, qui a bari non la vende nessuno!!

Oh I just love how you did this on gray paper and added the white and dark, leaving the gray paper to do some of the skintone work for you, brilliant! Gorgeous gorgeous portrait
