Woo, my first critique!
The first thing that caught my eye with this photo is the strong composition and the motif itself. The rails and the person standing on them lead the eye through the photo very nicely, and I love the texture of the rails. The silhouette of the person also makes the photo very appealing as it is not too present but also dark enough to immediately be recognized as the main focus.
Also, the tree on the left fits very nicely with the black frame, and I'm usually not a fan of frames like this one.
The only thing that irritate me a bit is the second person on the right, I think it would be interesting to see the photo with the person retouched out. However, that's only me and my personal opinion.
All in all a lovely work, well done!

Heh, official virgin comment. Thanks for contributing. I wanted to include the second guy in the photo was because I doesn't want to make it like the main model was actually posing for me.
The only regret was I didn't have him blurred out more than expected.

My first critique. Sorry if it's bad.
Usually I'm not one for black and white photos but I really like this one. I like the silhouette of the tree and the person on the railway track as it really stands out against the middle grey and softer greyer tones in the fore ground. And I like the second person in the picture as it make it different to the other pictures you see that are like this.

I disagree with the Critique, I actually think the picture is better with the extra person. Sure, it draws my eyes away from the guy on the railroad, but I like it that way, because that person is far more interesting to me.
Also, it makes it seem more friendly and natural. You know, two friends hanging out and playing around.

You mean you disagree with him on that only point. That's exactly what I replied to his critique as well stating the second person is there because I wanted to make the photo looks more natural. Track Trestle, mountains. All take me back to my childhood days. These tracks are all gone now because most coal here is now moved by truck...

According to me you've probably made a good choice putting it in black and white. It 'calms' the pic a bit and really points out the 'balance' title very well too because there's a certain balance in the black and white too. The trees in the background adds a feeling of depth while the three in the left corner is a nice detail.
