A fun character, although I feared for her when she joined Baron Zemo's Masters of Evil and didn't even know it.Β Kudos to Kurt Busiek too for taking the rather tired and -- by some -- hated trope of the super-team's teenaged apprentice member and made a interesting character who was an integral part of the team's arc.Β *And* did so with what felt like a combination of two of the more annoying examples of that trope, Jubilee and Speedball.
I kind of have a head canon that the powers Arnim Zola accidentally gave her was caused by his equipment somehow overlapping her body with the exotic energy wavelengths (i.e., "ghost") of some dead super-hero, most likely Thunderbolt (POWER MAN AND IRON FIST), which would giveΒ an extra reason why she wanted a costume with aΒ lightning bolt motif, or a combination of Golden Girl and the Human Top (THE INVADERS).

Last we saw, she is back on earth in the Pre Secret Empire Thunderbolts book. But because the book didn't spark due primarily to eye gouging art, we don't know her current status.

Jolt was a fun character, I'm not even sure what she's doing now.

I like the suit. Not just a costume but maybe high-tech and serves a purpose.
